Getting Ready for the Big Day!

Joshua's necktie turkey

Just wanted to pop in to say hello from under my "To Do Before Thanksgiving" list that includes little things like #12 Repaint Dining room, and #27 Finish making rag rug.  I know, I have clearly lost any sense of reality on this!

We are sooo excited to be hosting the biggest dinner ever for us, with our favorite folks from 3 states & 2 countries.  All preparations are being made more, um, interesting, with the help of our two year old:-)

I'll be quiet here and around your places till after the big day, but will most likely pop in on Friday this & next for "this moment" to help me remember all of the excitement:-)

Wishing you a wonderful, peaceful holiday!!
~Michelle

  1. Have a wonderful time with all your friends - remember it's the quality of your company not the neatness of your house that makes a visit truely special!! Will be thinking of all my american friends and family next week xxx

  5. Oh Michelle -- I love hearing about your list! (That is totally me when it comes to preparing for something big -- wanting to make the most of it!)

Sending all good wishes your way as you prepare and the calm to know that the preparations are part of the love...(and when to let something go!)

Looking forward to more posts of yours after the holidays!

    love the turkey of ties!

    Best,
